about my trip

Ten years ago I made the decision to move across the country from New England to set up shop in San Francisco, which at the time was a place I had never been.  A decade later, after completely embracing the city and the people I’ve met here, I’m on the move again.  Only now I’ll be traveling through the world with the hope of having the adventure of a lifetime.

Healthy, single, no children, no mortgage, no pets – my simple goal is to put myself out into the world and take advantage of a special time in my life I can never get back.

Open ended, unscripted, and lacking in some direction – my hope is that this trip will open my eyes to things only a traveler can see, and push me to find things out about myself that I didn’t know were there.

This travelogue is a chronicle of my journey for friends and family.  I’m humbled that you’ve taken the time to follow me along the way and I’m grateful for your love and support.

A good friend told me once that it is healthy for everyone to have a creative outlet, and so Soft Bulletin will be mine over the coming (few) year(s).  Bear with me as this could take some time getting used to.
